Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park
Purchased by George MacKay in 1889, the 6,000 acres of forest had a beautiful Capilano river flowing right through the middle of the property. George and his team pulled ropes across the river and erected a suspension bridge.
Tam is standing on the Cliffwalk which is 30 stories above the river.
Raptors are brought in to show and educate the visitors. A lady sat with this bird on her glove speaking with anyone that would listen. Very cool.

Stanley Park
Great place to bike ride and walk along the sea wall.
Stanley Park is almost 1,000 acers (400 hectares) in downtown Vancouver. They built the seawall around the park and added walking and biking paths to the top of the seawall. This is a must see and do if the weather is right.
We rented bikes at one of the dozen bike rental places at the start of the path. Four bikes, and two were electric) were under $100 for the 2 hours it took us to ride around the park.
You would think someone took our picture, but with Robs long arm he reached out an took a selfie for us.

Disney Wonder to Alaska
The Disney Wonder is the second Disney cruise ship that is run by Disney. It is noticeably smaller than the newer ships. We noticed the elevators and the gathering locations like the Disney Theater and Buena Vista Theater are smaller. It was refurbished in 2019 and looks great.
Boarding the ship in Vancouver. Part of the hurry up and wait when getting on. Shortly afterwards we were off to Alaska with 2,400 of our closest friends.
Icey Straight Point Alaska
In front of the glacier that is between the mountains on the Disney Wonder.
This is a short video of seven quick videos of a whale next to our Disney Cruise ship.
Brown Bear looking for dinner. We are on the whale watching boat and were lucky enough to see the bear.
Juneau Alaska
I spent a great deal of time reading on deck 4. So nice to sit and bundle up in one of the blankets.
Ketchikan Alaska
Welcome to Ketchikan. Walk right off the ship into town. We were told everything that is for sale in Ketchikan was brought in from a ship from some other place.
Tour at sea on the Aleutian Ballad. David and Big D from the Deadliest Catch. You should not miss this tour.
We all held different species of crab, starfish, shrimp, and other sea life.
They drove the Aleutian Ballad over to an island that was loaded with bald eagles. I stopped counting at 30.
