Royal Caribbean, Wonder Of The Seas - Western Caribbean

Tamara's Birthday Trip

We set sail from Cape Canaveral on a beautiful fall Sunday.
This is currently the largest cruise ship on the seven seas. I am on deck 15 and I think there are two more decks above. The ship was completed in 2022 and is 1,187 feet long.

Day 2, Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Bahamas
From 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Day 3, Cruising

Day 4, Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico
From 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Day 5, Cozumel, Mexico
From 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Day 6m Cruising
Day at sea

Day 7, Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida
Arrives at 6:00 AM

Flow Rider - most are boogie boarding. I have not seen anyone standing up on the board yet.

We are on the front of the ship looking forward. This is a great place to people watch, but then again, it is not a great place to people watch. 😁

A robot made a Blue Sky Margarita for me. It was very tasty. Took 2.5 minutes and spilled a little, but worth it.

The inside quarter of the ship with interior balconies and below is a bar the rises and lowers during the day.

The inside other quarter is also filled with interior balconies and a carousel down below for the kids to get on.

The Abyss dry slide on the back of the ship. You lay on your back on a carpet type mat. Pretty fun and an easy way to go down eight decks.

We are in Cozumel. This is a Mayan ruin called El Caracol. This was built between 1200-1500 AD. This could have been a shrine or lookout for this area.

Another shot.

Our guide and head of our family, Guias Pro Guias.

Cozumel Island is 29 miles long and 6 miles wide. The island was sacred to the Mayans and they would come on the island to get married or have children thousands of years ago.

The best waiter on Wonder of the Seas. Louis works seven months on and two months off. They sign a contract and work seven days a week and ten hours a day. Louis's assistant waiter Suryanata was just perfect. What a great combination.

We went into Roatan Honduras to see the sloths and the monkeys. We also were able to pet and feed the iguanas.
And yes, the hook in the neck, hurt.

You need to look a little to see the Sloths face. They are very slow and so sweet.

I did the Zip Line twice today. I think the guy that strapped me in got a little close and personal. 😁

The moon was full and a little uncomfortable. Like Crock shoes, I do not understand this fashion.

I road this slide a few times. It starts a few decks up. I think they waxed the slide cause it got really fast at the end of the week.

We are home. Slow cars in the fast lane with the constant brake and traffic lights.

Blowing My Mind

Items that I have collected,  in no particular order,  that  BLOW MY MIND. I have been collecting and writing down information that blows my mind. Here is a list, in no particular order, of information that I have picked up shortly after I was born in 1958. It is crazy how much information that has changed or is changing as I grow older. The Universe In no particular order: The universe was created 13.8 billion years ago. Big Bang - Only two elements were formed one million of a millionth of a millionth of a second after the big bang. Because of heat after the big bang these two elements were created. 1. 75% hydrogen  2. 25% helium 400 million years after the big bang, the stars are formed under extreme heat. The stars start to fail and explode which created carbon, oxygen, iron, nitrogen cooked and then exploded. E=MC² shows that Energy and Mass are interchangeable which is how energy turned into elements or mass. The earth is 4.543 billion years old. Life on ea...

Vancouver then Disney Cruise to Alaska

Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park Purchased  by George MacKay in 1889, the 6,000 acres of forest had a beautiful Capilano river flowing right through the middle of the property. George and his team pulled ropes across the river and erected a suspension bridge. Tam is standing on the Cliffwalk which is 30 stories above the river.  I am on the Cliffwalk and removed the people in the photo with Google Photos Edit application.    Raptors are brought in to show and educate the visitors. A lady sat with this bird on her glove speaking with anyone that would listen. Very cool.  Tam standing on the porch of a 150 year old house cut from logs in the area.  Tam walking over the suspension bridge. The bridge is 450 feet (137 meters) long and moves a lot.  Stanley Park Great place to bike ride and walk along the sea wall. Stanley Park is almost 1,000 acers (400 hectares) in downtown Vancouve...

I Bought a Model X

I PURCHASED A TESLA  MODEL X P90D Performance After many years of saving and talking myself into purchasing a Tesla I broke down and purchased a fully loaded (-1 option) Model X P90D.
