Car Drives Over a Foot Bridge

I get to work today and it is another normal day. I look out the window at 7:30 AM and see a car has driven over the foot bridge between the two buildings. I grabbed the camera and took this photo.

The lady drove the car down the stairs and then across the foot bridge. Early this morning the security guy looked into the car and noticed she had fallen asleep in the car. He said at first he thought she was dead. The police wrote her a ticket. I have no idea what the ticket was for.

The tow truck driver cranked up the car and reversed it back across the bridge. He then pulled the car up the stairs with the tow truck cables and lifted the car onto the bed of the truck and drove off. I was thinking the tow truck driver was crazy because if the bridge collapsed then he would be stuck in the car. Someone said he opened the sunroof before he drove the car back over the bridge.

Blowing My Mind

Items that I have collected,  in no particular order,  that  BLOW MY MIND. I have been collecting and writing down information that blows my mind. Here is a list, in no particular order, of information that I have picked up shortly after I was born in 1958. It is crazy how much information that has changed or is changing as I grow older. The Universe In no particular order: The universe was created 13.8 billion years ago. Big Bang - Only two elements were formed one million of a millionth of a millionth of a second after the big bang. Because of heat after the big bang these two elements were created. 1. 75% hydrogen  2. 25% helium 400 million years after the big bang, the stars are formed under extreme heat. The stars start to fail and explode which created carbon, oxygen, iron, nitrogen cooked and then exploded. E=MC² shows that Energy and Mass are interchangeable which is how energy turned into elements or mass. The earth is 4.543 billion years old. Life on ea...

Mid-Atlantic Backroad Discovery Route MABDR

The BDR is a motorcycle route that goes from Damascus Virginia to the New York State border. Some of the travel is on two laneroads, while other is on Forest Service gravel roads. I started in Damascus which is a great little town the Appalachian trail goes through. You can see my bike on the right.  the Appalachian trail and the Mid-Atlantic BDR slowly meander back and forth through the country. I've met a couple guys that were hiking all the way non-stop.  This is a well photographed gap that is fun to go through.  Sceenic overlook that I turned around for.  This was taken off a dirt road. I stopped and took this photo and then a hiker appeared out of nowhere. She scared me pretty good.  First night camping. Hard to sleep when you don't have your favorite body pillow and covers.

Mount Rainier July 28, 2024

Mount Rainier is an active volcano located in Washington. Wildflower meadows circle the icy volcano in July and August while ancient forests cover the lower slopes. We walked up the section that is called Paradise which is famous for its gorgeous views and wildflowers.  While we were in Paradise in July, the area is known for its winter activities. You will find people snowshoeing, cross country skiing and sledding.  We flew into Seattle and met Rob and Rebecca then headed on a drive to Mt. Rainier.  We did see the top of Rainier, but its low cloud cover was typical for the day. Rob, Rebecca (R2), Tam and Bob The walk was up hill for a while and this old guy was hurting the next day.  I have no information about the cabin located in the bottom of the beautiful valley.  The flowers looked like they were professionally grown.  The waterfalls were scattered all through the walk. So pretty and full of life.  We even saw some wildlife.
